You call a side before the coin lands, and a correct call pays while a miss takes the stake. Some versions let a win streak grow into a multiplier you can cash out or keep riding.

What coinflip is
You pick a side. The coin lands. If you called it, you get paid. If you missed, the stake is gone. That is the whole game, whether the tile says Flip, Coinflip or X-Flip.
House coinflip is software. After the flip you can open the fair page and check the seed. It is not a physical coin in a live studio.
Two skins, same coin
One-shot. You call heads or tails. The coin pays or it does not. Next flip is a new bet.
Streak. A correct call grows a multiplier. You can cash out or flip again. One miss wipes the run. That version feels like a tiny Crash with two outcomes.

It is not a fair coin
Two sides does not mean the house pays a true double. The payout on a win is usually a little under 2x. That gap is the product. A streak multiplies the same gap. We do not print a fake RTP for every skin. Open the help tab on that game.
The usual hole
A side is not “due.” The last ten tails do not pull the next flip. Raising after a miss, or letting a streak run because it “feels hot,” is how a 50/50 screen empties an account.

Is Flip the same as Coinflip?
Yes on this site. Different tile names. Same call.
Is this the same as Crash?
No. Crash is a rising line with many cash-out points. Coinflip is two sides. A streak Flip only looks like Crash because you can stop. Crash: Crash.
