The words are the wallet
A seed phrase is 12 or 24 words your wallet shows once, when you create it. Also called a recovery phrase or secret recovery phrase. Anyone who has the words in order can recreate the wallet on another phone and move the coins. There is no support reset.

Who can ask for it
Nobody you want to deal with. Not the casino. Not live chat. Not a KYC form. Not a “support” account on Telegram, Discord, or X.

A real ticket asks for a txid, an amount, and a screenshot of the cashier. It never asks for the words.
Where the words live
Paper. Two copies if the stack is large. Separate places. Not a screenshot. Not Notes. Not email. Not a cloud doc.
You only type the words when you restore the official wallet app you downloaded yourself, on a device you control. A popup that says “verify the wallet” or “sync to release the deposit” is the drain.
If a site asks anyway
Close the tab. Do not paste the words. Do not send a photo of the paper.
If the words never left the paper, the wallet is still yours. If you already pasted them, treat that wallet as burned. Move whatever is left to a new wallet you just created, then stop using the old addresses.
FAQ
Is a private key the same thing?
No. The seed rebuilds every address in that wallet. A private key empties one address. Do not type either into a casino.
Does 2FA protect the seed?
No. 2FA protects the casino login. The seed lives in your wallet.
Can support recover my wallet if I lost the paper?
No. That is the trade. Lose the paper and there is no helpline.
The live chat says they need the phrase to find my deposit.
