What 2FA is here
Two-factor authentication is a second code after the password. The useful kind is an authenticator app on your phone. The code rotates every 30 seconds. SMS is weaker. Email-only codes are weaker still.
2FA locks the casino login. It does not lock the wallet. The seed phrase is a different key: What a Crypto Seed Phrase Is.
When to turn it on
Before the first deposit. Not after a withdrawal scare. An empty account is cheap to lock. A funded one is the target.
- Install an authenticator app from the official store. Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator all speak the same codes.
- Open Settings, Security, or Account on the casino.
- Turn on 2FA or Authenticator. The page shows a QR and a long secret.
- Scan the QR. If you are on the same phone as the casino tab, paste the secret into the app instead.
- Type the six-digit code back into the casino to prove the app is linked.
- Write the backup codes on paper. Same rule as a seed. No screenshot in a cloud album.

If you lose the phone

A live chat that wants the 2FA secret or a photo of the backup sheet is not support. Close it.
What 2FA does not fix
A seed you typed into a fake wallet site. A password you reused from email. A device that is already logged in. 2FA stops a stolen password. It does not stop you handing the keys over.

FAQ
Is SMS 2FA enough?
Better than nothing. An app is the default. If the brand only offers SMS, use it and keep the SIM stable. Do not treat a text code as equal to the app.
Will 2FA slow withdrawals?
By one code. That is the point.
Can I use the same app on two casinos?
Yes. Each site is a separate row in the app. Do not share one QR across two accounts.
