What a void is
A void means the extra balance, and often the win tied to it, is removed. The deposit may stay. Sometimes the whole account is closed. It is a terms move, not a glitch.
The cashier can stay quiet while you play. A lot of voids fire when you hit Withdraw, not on the spin that broke the rule. A green balance is not a cleared bonus.
The usual trips

Bonus buy or feature buy. The buy is one stake. If the cap is $5 and the buy is $80, that click is already over. Some terms ban the buy while the bonus is on even when the stake looks small.
Expiry. The clock sits in the same file as the 40x. Free spins can die in hours. A locked match can die in days. When the timer ends, the extra and the win on it can go together.
Delayed play. Claiming, waiting for a feature, closing the game, then bursting the wagering on something else. Some terms call that abuse. Some call it irregular play. Same ending.
